He stole her heart and her cell phone

Darrington Lauriano

He once stole her heart…but his second attempt was not to steal her love, but items from her home. Twenty-seven year old Darrington Lauriano, a carpenter of Castle Street, was taken to court today for a burglary at Renesha Wills’ house.  On May twenty-seventh, Lauriano allegedly went to the Booths Crescent house and stole Wills’ cell phone which was valued at two thousand dollars. The Senior Magistrate, who dealt with the matter, asked Lauriano if he was related to Wills and that’s when he said they were once in a relationship, and he felt the burglary charge arose from malicious intent due to a grievance she has against him.  The Senior Magistrate offered him bail of five thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount with the condition that Lauriano pays a pending fine of five hundred and five dollars from a previous conviction for assaulting a police officer. He was also ordered him to stay away from Wills while his case is before the court.
