I think both Doctors as well as management are to be held accountable for the deaths. As doctors they notice that the babies were dying and saw similarities on the babies sickness, they saw that the babies platelets started to decrease and they check and find out it was a virus wiht in the intensive care . They should have brought it up to the management that so many babies are dying , and as management I think they should actually be checking on their doctors how the floor operantes and if they notice a huge amounts of deaths they should have had a meeting with the doctors and check why so many deaths and try to do a clean up but it was left at that, Both are to be held accountable,

The question poses a false dichotomy — it is not an “either/or” proposition, because BOTH are negligent at best, and both the medical staff [including nurses, the frontline of the medical staff] and management must be held to account.

Heads should roll across the board for these deadly failures.

Doctors are in the operating rooms, and they see the evidence of infection first, so it is their PROFESSIONAL DUTY to correct it immediately, or to refuse to work in filthy conditions. Do they even have a protocol to keep the hospital germ-free, such as by sterilizing instruments, washing hands, etc.?

Management calls the shots, and that means it is their DUTY to oversee what is happening, and

Management calls the shots, and that means it is their DUTY to oversee what is happening, and REQUIRE the doctors and nurses to keep the entire facility up to profession standards every day, for every patient.

I SAY THE MEDICAL STAFF AND MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO LIVE IN THE INFECTED UNITS UNTIL THEY ARE CERTIFIED SANITARY.

The biggest head has to roll. This is the direct result money buying public office.

    - What is the qualification of the Honourable Minister of Health?
    - Shouldn’t the Doctors and staff ring the alarm from the first child died? Autopsy, cause of death?

The parents need to come together and file a lawsuit and let this set precedence so it never happens again.

Doctors have been crying out about lack of equipment & proper work conditions for years!!! this is a 100% the fault of MANAGEMENT!

This poll should be about How we fix things not who done it. One person is accountable but plenty more are responsible.
