Mistrial in murder case against 2 accused; juror prejudicial remark

It’s been three weeks since the murder trial of twenty-four year old Cordel Flores and twenty-one year old Warren Lewis began before Justice Troadio John Gonzalez for the August eighteenth 2009 murder of Alberto Travis Allen. But the case today came to a screeching halt due to a most unusual turn of events. A prejudicial remark was made by one of the jurors and that forced a mistrial. Judge Gonzalez had no choice but to discharge the twelve member panelist and bring the case to a stop. It is reported that a female juror was heard uttering the following words, “They buoy have a winning case…” Judge Gonzalez was of the view that because the jurors were already commenting on the case, without hearing all the evidence, that they were pre-judging the case and the appearance of a fair trial was therefore not possible.  Both men will now have to wait until the next session of the Supreme Court to find out when they will get a retrial for Allen’s murder. On August eighteenth 2009 Alberto Travis Allen’s body was found at mile three and a half on the George Price Highway with multiple stab wounds and gunshot wounds.

There in lies a lot of the countries problem, ignorance. A lack of education in the very people who has to sit on these juries is a big part of why these killers walk. If you have no education it is impossible to reason even when the evidence is sitting right in fron of you loud and clear. It is a truly sad situation. I can now understand why God destroyed the earth by flood in the time of Noah, it must have been as hopelss a time as what is going on in Belize right now.

God will be forced to move to bring some relief to Belize. People I am issuing you a warning, prepare for a catastrophic event, God is about to speak.
