Shot to the head while buying Johnny Cake

There was a murder late this evening in the heart of Belize City.  Frank Neal, an employee of the Port, was shot in the head at the corner of Cairo and Glenn Street which is located behind X-tra House near the downtown area. Residents in the area say Neal does not live in the neighborhood and he went there to purchase Johnny cakes.  The details are sketchy but News Five has confirmed that his bike was stolen from the area and he was shot at least once to the head. News Five spoke to a relative on the scene.

March people march when you can’t even go out fu buy food things are not good the carnage continues but only we belizeans fu blame because we keep this corrupt incompetent impotent pm and gov. In power.

  2. Al says:

This is a time to over throw this government. When will this PM and his cabinet take hold of the law and make the punishment for murder a hanging offense. If it is just plain murder let them pay the price, please. Can they not see where the country is going, it is doing worse every day. It is sad when a person is going about their daily routine and is killed for a bicycle, this is horrific and no one is speaking out against the hostage situation that has griped the city. Stand up and be heard people.

  3. Bear says:

GSU and BDF need to keep a full-time, every-day clamp on the city, not just once in a while when television cameras are called out for a show.

And we need volunteer citizen patrols equipped with radios and cameras — I know we just got a lot of equipment from CARSI for that purpose, let’s see it deployed onto the streets NOW! What are you waiting for, John Saldivar?

Finally, let’s make sure this killer is caught, DEAD or alive. He might have killed anybody’s child, yours or mine, for a bicycle, which appears to be the motive for the murder. What a hellish waste!

Rod is starting to make sense to me, with the relentless tide of murders that GOB is helpless even to slow down.

    WHO NEXT?
