Minister Farrakhan’s message to Belizeans

Leader of the Nation of Islam, Minister Louis Farrakhan, arrived this afternoon at the Phillip Goldson International Airport on American Airlines. It is his third visit to Belize; the last was twenty-seven years ago. Farrakhan was scheduled to visit Belize in early December but the trip was cancelled at the last minute because of illness. At the time he promised that he would still visit and today, Minister Farrakhan is back on Belizean soil. The media was invited to the Phillip Goldson International Airport for a press conference with the seventy-nine year old Minister, but somewhere along the way plans changed and only the Government Press Office was allowed to speak to him. But as he left the VIP room at the PGIA the soft-spoken, charismatic Farrakhan shared some words with the media and persons gathered to welcome him, even if it was through the security fence.

Louis Farrakhan

“I am very happy to be back again after twenty-seven years and I am looking forward to meeting as many people of Belize as possible in the five or six days that I shall be here with you. I am honored to be here; happy to see you all and I am looking forward to our making a contact. You are what I live for.”

Security was in full effect at the PGIA as Minister Farrakhan arrived for a six day tour. Since members of the independent media were not allowed into the VIP room, the Government Press Office was assigned to conduct a short interview with Farrakhan. Our colleagues at the Press Office have provided footage of the message to Belizeans by the international figure.

Louis Farrakhan, Leader, Nation of Islam

“My message all throughout the Caribbean is that no one island can exist in a global economy by itself. The problems of Belize are the problems of the whole Caribbean. So what we see a natural union between the Caribbean to the east and north and south to Central America. So I think that the future of Belize has to tie in to Central America as well as to the whole Caribbean—natural trading partners, natural investors in the wealth of this country. And from what you show me, the banana industry is suffering, the sugar industry is suffering; agriculture is suffering and the crime rate is going up and you have gang problems here with young people. It is the same throughout the Caribbean and the United States as well as Africa. It is not an accident. This is very much planned. So I think the way forward is the unity of the people of Belize, three hundred thousand, and the unity of the Caribbean and the unity of Central America.”

Minister Farrakhan also paid a courtesy visit on Prime Minister Dean Barrow at his office in Belize City. He is scheduled to speak to Belizeans on Friday at the Bird’s Isle in Belize City.

“This is very much planned” — who planned it?

Sad to say, the Belizean mess was caused by . . . Belizeans.

  2. Gimme Some Truth says:

Wikipedia>>> “Farrakhan has expressed interest in Scientology and encouraged Nation of Islam members to undergo auditing from the Church of Scientology.”

Who murdered Malcolm X? space aliens from Xenu.

So follow Louis Farracon, give him your time, money, and power. He is a leader that can be trusted with your perro or puerco. He will hook you up with another great U.S. manufactured religion, Scientology, a/k/a L Ron Hubbard’s barking left testicle.

Louis! Need a Belizean body guard? call Mello he may want to convert to you organization.
    Name a price and lawyer.

Also, call Mugabe, this most high VIP waits for you at the Harare International Airport, Zimbabwe needs a state religion. Ground floor opportunity. You two are not getting younger, business on the table.

  3. OriginalWoman says:

    Once again welcome, Minister Farrakhan!!!

  4. Rod says:

Why is gov and pm spending over 100 thousand dollars on this bigot it amazes me how a pm and gov is willing to shower the biggest bigot in the world with gifts and money and yet throw our citizens to the dogs on the border who in my opinion are true patriots and not cowards like this pm and gov who are nothing but traitors to their country.

  5. Louisville,Ky says:

Any time a Black man attempts to uplift us by identifing our problems and seeks solutions, there are always the Uncle Toms that look on with jaundiced eyes and runny mouths.
I do not even share Mr. Louis’ religious beliefs, however I admire his initiatives in addressing the problems that are common to people of color everywhere.
My fellow Belizeans, my youth especially, try putting to practice at least some of the things this Man is suggesting and see if you won’t be better off, overall.

  6. not again says:

    Agree 100% with @rod.

  7. Don't trust says:

Anything having to do with Islam cannot be good.

  8. ceo says:

Louisville, Ky you are on the money! I too am not a Muslim but I too agree with much of what he has to say! Sad but too often we think if we kill the messanger the problem will go away. He speaks without fear or favor to the opressor and to the opressed so he is not liked by many but when ever one stopes to listen to the things he says there is enough truths in them. Check his message to black men in the US about fathering children that they do not spend any time or money on. This message applies to many men in Belize from every ethnicity! Check his message on how women should cary themselves with decency. Many of his messages are very deep with much world history that are tied in but most Belizeana still have a Colonial mind and still liike to wait for the europeans to show up with handouts to help us. Check what happens to those that have stood up in the face of adversity and spoke out against the injustices of this world and especially in America: Martin L. King, Malcom X, JFK, Nelson Mandella… No man is perfect but if all we would be judged by would be our worst moments we would all deserve to die! You need to think my people before you continue the slander.

  9. melinda says:

Everything that @Rod says is against the PM and the government. Mein, get a life! The governement has nothing to do with this visit your PUP fanantic. Its sickening to read your stupiness at on every topic. JA!!

  10. Earl Grey says:

Dr. Farrakhan PREACHES – SELF HELP!!!! MANY are NOT READY….

  11. AEM says:

Haters are gonna hate, winners are gonna win.

  12. Rob says:

    KY!

You are just to blame… why is it that everything has to be race (Black) problem. It is people like you that encourage racism and keep the black people down. You should shut up and voice your opinion in your head. Maybe even go to school and get educated instead of being ignorant.

  13. check it out says:

I agree with Rod, he can preach whatever he wants to whomever, but do not use public funds for his visit, if that is so then lets us invite Glenn Beck or David Duke to Belize to preach white pride.

  14. Eduardo says:

“Two centuries of British colonization was not for nothing. I cannot help but think of the European conquest of the Caribbean, and think of Jean-Baptiste’s Rochambeau’s dogs in Haiti during Napoleon’s reign. Rochambeau imported from Cuba fifteen hundred dogs trained to hunt and eat blacks. On the day the dogs arrived, priests blessed the occasion and offered prayers for the dogs’ success. Young French girls bedecked the hounds with flowers, kissed their necks, clapped and cheered to see the first negroes thrown to these savage animals and devoured. The dogs of the conqueror are still here. Just less obvious.” Taken from Under the Blue Mango Belize on Five-K and a Pack of Smokes by Joe Bageant

Rod and not again you are the dogs that Joe Bageant mentions, just less obvious.

  15. Eye in the Sky says:

WHO let this terrorist into Belize?

  16. Gimme Some Truth says:

    @Louisville,Ky
    >>Any time a Black man attempts to uplift us
I put Mandela and MLK as hero status, your point is what?

Scientology, and Farrakhan in league with Scientology, just says it the way it is:
tommy goffs looking for suckers & servants.

That white piece of trash, Adolph Hitler, loved his dog, and built the autobahn.
Still the same: serpent looking for suckers.

  17. bgroovy says:

No , I am not giving up my pigtail…..

  18. adolph lucas jr says:

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.. Welcome back home my brother Farrakhan. May the peace of Allah always be with you and your family.

  19. Scott says:

Check it out, Glenn Beck is NOT a racist. Far from it.

I do question though why he wants us to buy property in Belize as is often advertised on his program.

No offense, but the problems within America, one isn’t really going to find much relief of such problems in Belize as this article itself kind of shows. Farrakhan is as much about hate as David Duke is yet the government of Belize is funding his trip?. Their country, their call, but the next time I think about Belizing it for my next holiday, I think I will visit Australia instead.
