Update on recent murder

A Belize City man is in police custody tonight in connection with the New Year’s Day murder of forty-five year old Orlando Williams.  Williams was gunned down a short distance away from home shortly after nine o’clock on Tuesday night, as he stood conversing with another man near the corner of Dean Street and West Canal.  Williams’ murder preceded another near-fatal shooting near Belize Bank in Market Square that same night.  While a connection between the two incidents remains to be formally established, it is widely believed that the same individual may have been involved in the murder of Orlando Williams and the shooting of Marco Valle.  Additional information is expected to be released on Friday pending charges against the individual.

Death to the killer. Our national resolution this year should be that we have no mercy for murderers.

  2. WOW says:

Start putting them in solitary confinement with only bread to eat and water to drink so they can perish away slowly. No charges against the government because they are going to be treated humanely. They kill, teach them a lesson, no mercy or sympathy for them because the families of the victims are suffering and hurt because some idiot and illiterate fool who only takes directions from their so called boss send them to do a task they themselves should not do. What are you thinking come on, stop the senseless killings and send your boss to do his own crime. Remember murderer, you boss is there sitting in his house sipping on some Hennessy while you sit in a jailhouse in confinement. Wow how they don’t think for themselves..WAKE YOUTHS, START TO BE LEADER AND TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR DESTINY.

Mothers need to take control of their children life. All these murders came from parents, a mother and father. If we as parents start doing our duties, less crime will happen. Church leader need to do their part. Look around Belize their is nothing for youths to do and go, what happen to the youths groups?… even business people need to invest more in young people, sponsor more , schools need to create more after school activities this will help in some form to help eliminate crimes. Law enforcement authority give community service for minor crime… rehab don’t turn the youths into life long criminal. Start acting now, Belize is getting worst. And remember put God first in every we do.

I find it difficult to believe that the leaders in my beloved Belize had fallen as it were into a state of inertia. I refuse to believe that Belize don’t have enough Law inforcement officers to organize a crime task force, to deal with these criminals in Belize. What Belize has come too? are you telling me that the authority in Belize are powerless to take on these thugs. This is my recomendation, hunt them down. make sure that there is no place safe enouge for them to hide, and deal with those that give them safe haven. In my book when you kill some you automatically forfeit your own life unless you can prove that it was done in self defence. Last but not least start executing those that kill their fellow human being in cold blood. I am not saying that if the death penalty in administered that the killing will cease, be it far from us to think it wll stop, but the would be killers will think twice before they pull that weapon to commit murder. I do adminished the Belize goverment to use any force necessary to halt this madness.
