Did a senator pass with uncustommed goods?

Julius Espat is not the only member of the National Assembly in the news tonight. A government appointed senator also is.  On Sunday, the Senator allegedly ignored a custom and ADU check point along the Northern Highway. According to our sources, the senator’s vehicle is believed to have been loaded with uncustommed goods. One unconfirmed report says that on a previous occasion when she was allegedly busted with uncustommed goods, she was released on instructions from higher ups.

Unequal treatment under the law is a sure sign of tyranny. Let’s all watch whether Hon. PM Barrow follows the path of tyranny or justice in this matter.

From what I am told the by old custom officers. The only minister who use to submit to searches was Rt. Hon. George Price. Its rare for any government official or their families to pay duties.
And the highway is now named the Phillip Goldson Highway.

They are not normal Belizean that is why tell can do it. If it was a poor belizean he/she would be on all the media and locked up.

Once you are family member of any UDP minister or senator u can bring in anything to this country without being inspected at the border. This is happening, check vega’s imports. lol.

it is to be expected. Corruption is from the top- that is why our country is in the state it is. All over- industries striking, teachers/students striking, health department in a total mess, crime is rampant. The PMs name is supposedly dragged in a recent murder case? What do you expect next?

  8. Bzn says:

    This is a baseless accusation!

No one was reported and no names were called!
I’m not saying it didn’t happen but lets be fair and not casting aspirsations on anyone…

If indeed this person was involved in anything wrong let the law take its course
i remember when Castro’s driver was involved in something like that he was fined and suspended from his job.

Transparency and accountability for everyone is what we need!
