Like being struck by lightning, it sadly seems this man’s time had come. It could have been any of us walking there. My sympathies to his family.

  2. RIP says:

This is sad. This man use to do his early morning exercises on the highway and apparently that was just what he was doing when this happened. I would always see him doing this right before the traffic got too hectic. What can I say we cannot always avoid these types of stuff. Accident always occurs around this same spot. An ambulance running into that ditch, A man knocked down dead about 30 feet away from that same spot and now this? Reckless drivers, there are no excuses for reckless drivers. May this man RIP he was cheated out his life.

Channel 5 I am begging, please do a story on the vast neumber of deaths on this stretch of highway over the past 10 years. between Haulover Bridge and the HL roundabout. just last week another was killed in front of MM Engineering. this is the only Highway in a heavily populated city area. it is akilling field. I am sure if we tally all the deaths it can be considered on the the most dangerous roads in the world. far more likely to die of a car accident here that to be hit by lightning.

  5. Storm says:

I heard a report elsewhere that the driver was drinking alcohol before losing control. That puts a whole different view on this man’s death. Drunk driving is a serious problem in the Jewel, and our courts must discourage it by jail sentences. If you have been drinking, for God’s sake, don’t drive! Take a cab, have a friend drive, wait to sober up.

  6. BMNJ says:

What we need are speed bumps especially around Brodie and Bennys.

  8. Simone says:

I heard she was drinking and she better hopes she gets convicted or her family might pay the way things are going nowadays
