Belama paralegal charged for forging land documents

Anne Marie Morrison

In the courts, a paralegal of Belama Phase Two is facing criminal charges for allegedly deceiving her estranged husband out of a parcel of land. Forty-three year old Anne Marie Morrison is accused of forging a transfer deed on January twenty-first, 2009 and a transfer of lease on June twenty-fifth that same year. In doing so, she acquired the property she now occupies at number 204 Waha Street in Belama Phase Two from Dean Morrison. Today, Anne Marie appeared before Magistrate, Hettie Mae-Stuart and was charged with Obtaining Property by Deception and two counts of Forgery. No plea was taken at this morning’s arraignment and bail of six thousand dollars was granted.   Anne Marie, who is being represented by Attorney Ellis Arnold, is due back in court on September fourth.

  1. Storm says:

This problem is at the root of much of the corruption that holds the Jewel down from development and prosperity.

I want a really long prison term for her, as an example and precedent for others. These criminals steal land and life savings with the stroke of a pen and a notary seal, and are no better than street robbers.

  2. Quiet after the Storm says:

Storm – you seem to have absolute proof of the guilt of Ms. Morrison – and you have appointed yourself judge and jury as well. Innocent until proven guilty. How we know you are not her estranged husband?

  3. Rain says:

not surprising….I hope there is justice…Well I think if they took her to court and charged her is because they have evidence against her, or else they would have charge her or even go threw the process.

We can’t have criminal like this on the streets…if they did it once they continue doing it….
