Deficit spending will degrade the quality of all life in the Jewel over the long run — it passes debt to future workers, my children will have to work to pay for waste, fraud, and corruption committed in today’s GOB.

The economic condition of the Jewel has been spiraling downward for years, and needs long-term wise vision, not “quick fixes” that steal from Peter to pay Paul. Until we find a leader who is willing to plan ahead wisely, someone with real economic knowledge, our situation will be worse from one year to the next.

We have to sacrifice for the future of our children. We are in big debt due to the PUP mishandling of our monney. We have to pay back. I’m not complaining but it is the truth. Life will not get better at all. Not right now. But maybe next term government might enjoy the benefits to look good on the actions of this present government. Things hard indeed, but pay we have to pay the debts. We have no option.

  3. Storm says:

100% right, Jahkid. We cannot default on the nation’s debt. But we must learn and remember the lesson of letting a government — PUP or UDP or someone else — borrowing us into the poor house! And what benefit do we, as a people, have to show for that debt?
