Police capture Welcome with over 25,000 grams of weed

An early morning patrol in the Benque Viejo area netted cannabis amounting to fifty-five and a half pounds. On Sunday morning Benque Police were on mobile patrol in the Lomas Del Rodeo area when a pickup truck made a sudden stop and two men exited. One of men, who had a red sack in his hands, ran into the bushes while the other ran in the opposite direction. After a police pursuit, twenty-four year old Anthony Thomas Welcome was apprehended. Welcome later led police to the area where he had discarded the red sack and a search of the bag led to the discovery of three taped black plastic bags containing cannabis. A further search of the vehicle also led to the discovery of three plastic bags also wrapped in brown tape containing cannabis.

Thanks and congratulation to alert officers! I hope investigation can lead to the others involved in the operation, like the source and intended recipient of the drugs.

Drugs are a dirty and deadly business and the love of drug money is tearing apart our entire beautiful little nation.

If I were King, I would hang drug traffickers. They are like people who shoot into a crowd — they don’t care who they kill or hurt.
