Sign up for three by three basketball tournament

Paul Thompson

Pick-up basketball or three by three, as common as it is an alternative to a full-court match, is arguably more competitive than its five-on-five sibling.  Realizing its popularity, the Belize Basketball Federation (B.B.F.) along with Bowen and Bowen Limited have organized a tournament inviting teams of three with an opportunity to represent Belize in the United States in the weeks ahead.  The first leg of the competition begins this weekend in Belize City where it is anticipated that twenty-four teams will compete for a chance to advance to the finals. According to B.B.F. president Paul Thompson, the tour will showcase talent in several groups, including an under-eighteen division as well as a senior category.
