Jamaican Artist, Popcaan, brings his brand of music

There is another concert this weekend for dancehall lovers. Belizean Americans, Problem Sean and Bolo of All in Entertainment, have brought in Andrae Jay Sutherland known for his hit songs like: Naughty girl, Party shot and Raving…It’s Popcaan in concert this Saturday in Belize City. Artists from New York and Belize—including lead male vocalist, Nello Player—will join the twenty-one year old Jamaican dancehall artist on stage at the Princess Poolside and Club Next for what promoters say will be one of the biggest concerts in Belize. On Wednesday, the international artists touched down in the jewel and spoke to News Five.

“I believe this is the biggest concert that Belize is having in a long, long time. Not to kick down anyone’s name, but in the past there have been a lot of fraudulent concerts that have been promoted and we just want to bring back good, fun, safe entertainment to the Belize people. We are Belizean Americans and we want to bring back something to the country.”

“We got Keon Vybz, we got Billionz, we got Nello Player and the main performer, Popcaan. It’s going to be a great, great, great show.”

Tickets in advance are fifty dollars and can be purchased from Old Master Rum, L.A. Fashions in Belize City and Belmopan, San Pedro Water Taxi Express and the Princess Hotel.
