GSU busts infamous Brian Brown

Brian Brown

A warrant is out for Brian Brown, a well known street figure. For about ten hours today, the Gang Suppression Unit raided Brown’s house on Fabers Road where they found cash in Belize and US currencies, cocaine, crack and cannabis hidden in various areas of the house. They also found ski masks, a bullet proof vest, drug paraphernalia and a government license plate. Brown was not at home during the raid, but a Justice of the Peace was brought in to witness the find. News Five’s Isani Cayetano reports.

Isani Cayetano, Reporting

An early morning raid on the heavily fortified property of Brian Brown, a notorious George Street figure, has resulted in the discovery of a sizeable quantity of drugs and money.  Shortly before six o’clock, a team of twelve GSU officers descended upon the residence, located off Fabers Road Extension, where a complete search of the premises has netted a large quantity of retailed crack, cannabis and powder cocaine stowed in the bathroom, kitchen and veranda. Various denominations of both U.S. and Belize currencies totaling seven thousand, six hundred and six Belize dollars were also found stashed inside the two storey wooden structure.  The search also yielded a bulletproof vest, a pair of handcuffs, a government license plate, two homemade balaclavas, one with bloodstains visible around the eyeholes, digital scales, a modified bong and gold jewelry, including a belt buckle emblazoned with the George Street insignia. Interestingly while a holster for a revolver was discovered there were no weapons or ammunition found on the property.  Brown, who was not at home at the time of the raid, is still at large and News Five understands that several attempts by his mother to have him surrender himself to authorities were futile.  Of note is that while the perimeter is secured by a high concrete fence wrapped with barbed wire, the area is also under twenty-four hour surveillance with closed circuit cameras being monitored from a flat panel display inside the master bedroom.  It is expected that Brown will face a slew of drug possession charges as well as possession of a bulletproof vest. Reporting for News Five, I am Isani Cayetano.

The raid concluded at about five o’clock this evening.

    1. I forgot we have skiing here in the Jewel! I must get a mask and join him and his pals on the slopes.

    2. If he were smart — I doubt it — he will turn himself in to the police with a lawyer or TV camera by his side. During street arrests, it’s too easy for a police gun to discharge accidentally, even several times. RIP Arthur Young, for example.

    3. I HOPE SOMEONE THINKS TO SEND THE BLOODSTAINS FOR DNA TESTING. Sooner or later, that will get connected to some illegal incident.

    4. GOOD WORK, GSU. Keep the hammer down until all the rats are dead or fled.

WOW ITS SOOOOOOOOO WONDERFUL TO SEE THESE SO CALLED KINGPINS ARE ALL GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVE 1 BY 1!!! I REALLY HOPE SOMETHING GETS DONE BECAZ THESE GUYS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SO MANY CRIMES ESPECIALLY DEATHS OF MANY PEOPLE. THEY CAUSE MANY MOTHERS TO CRY, AND MANY KIDS WITHOUT A FATHER. OUR GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO PURGE OUR COUNTRY OF THESE PEOPLE. I BELIEVE HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE YOUNG LADY NEISA’S DEATH. MEIN HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANY DEATHS. THE DEVIL ALREADY HAVE PLANS FOR HIM IN HELL… I HAVE NO CARE FOR THESE GANG MEMBERS, I ONLY CARE THAT THEY GET EXACTLY WHAT THEY DESERVE…

This is the same idiot who was on the ross kemp documentary about Gangs in Belize. The carpenter guy who was talking all kinds of bs about putting hits on other gangs.

  11. Vengeance says:

Finally!!!!!!. If he walks away free after all this evidence, then we know someone at the top is getting paid off. I hope his mother suffers greatly. Then she will have some idea of how much pain and heartbreak other MOTHERS and family members have felt when her son had their loved ones MURDERED. This may sound harsh but she benifited greatly from her sons illegal activities. She condoned their behavior by accepting money, property or what have you from them. She is just as guilty as her sons. they are a cruel and heartless lot and i hope they ALL BURN IN HELL!.
