Arrests made for 3 murders
There were no new murders in the country tonight, but that has not stopped the police from investigating and finding suspects for recent crimes. Belmopan police have arrested and charged eighteen year old Emmanuel Polanco, a resident of mile twenty-five on the Hummingbird Highway, with two counts of murder. His relative Francisco Polanco was also charged for grievous harm upon Javier Larios who was fatally stabbed at the National Agriculture and Trade Show compound on April twenty-ninth.
During the incident it is also believed that Emmanuel Polanco also inflicted a fatal stab wound on twenty-three year old Moses Orellano whose body was discovered a few hours later.
Meanwhile, in Corozal Town, twenty-eight year old Jorge Ivan Tun, a fisherman of Mahogany Street in Hall’s Layout, has been arrested and charged for the murder of Aidan Perez and the shooting of Kareem Jones which occurred on April twenty-fourth. Tun was additionally charged with two counts of grievous harm.
