Father/Husband murdered while parting a fight

Cristobal Santos

Prior to the murder of David Hernandez, in Orange Walk Town a twenty-four year old man was stabbed while attempting to break up a fight early on Friday night on the San Antonio Road. Cristobal Santos managed to make it back to his home but soon succumbed to the injuries to his abdomen.  Police have detained one suspect who was seen riding Santos’ bicycle after the murder. News Five’s Isani Cayetano reports.

What should have been a night of celebration for twenty-four year old Cristobal Santos has instead resulted in a fatal stabbing incident at the start of the holiday weekend.  The father of two, an avid supporter of the People’s United Party, left his home on San Antonio Road on Friday night to attend a victory rally for his area representative.  While there Santos called his wife Diana to join him at the festivity.
