American busted for Unnatural Act sends sick note

Brian Sears

Brian Sears is the American missionary of Somerset Kentucky, who was charged with Committing an Unnatural Act against three brothers in Sarteneja village, Corozal. Up to the time of his arrest, Sears was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship in Somerset. But the police believed he used religion as a ruse to gain the trust of the family of his victims. Since the charges on October eighth 2011, Sears was released on bail, but was re-arrested on December sixteenth. He was busted by the cops on Fourth Avenue in Corozal Town with point six grams of suspected crack in his vehicle. He also received bail on that charge. Today Sears was scheduled to appear in court but he didn’t show up.  Instead, someone appeared on his behalf with a note written by Sears. The ‘sick note’ indicated that Sears was ill and was unable to attend that session. So the matter was adjourned until March nineteenth, however, questions about his legal status have arisen. News Five can confirm that Sears has only presented a copy of his passport to the court and to the police station. The original travel document has not been found, which makes his stay in Belize dubious and even while he didn’t show up in court, he remains on bail.

What!!???? Are we just going to take this lightly?? Where are the persons and organizations responsible for protecting youth and children????? Has this man jumped bail and fled? This pervert worked in Guatemala ….with youth there too…..he could escape to anywhere to commit sick acts again! Belize is messed up…Mr. Sears comes from a rich family back in KY and it seems that money talks ….that must explain his special treatment. Outrageous!

Why is this predator out on bail at all? Child rape is one of the most devastating violent crimes there is. Lock him up!

And if he is convicted, castrate him.

Funny how bad news travels so fast about Christians. The real good news..that a Christian didn’t do this stuff… I regret to say I still have not seen it on any Belize News Channels Internet Report. Just like I never saw on the news that the boys told a judge the police statements were lies. I know his dad. He came back in March and told me what was going on. No one reported that his father witnessed them try to deport him, or he was re-arrested in front of the U.S. Embassy 5 minutes after he walked out trying to get his passport fixed. I’m guessing Belizeans work in the embassy and get money for things too. Think… Why on earth try to deport someone who may be going to jail for 30 years? Belize can’t extradite anyone from the U.S. back to Belize anyway…why didn’t he run? Lastly, why did he even go back to Belize. Authorities told his family not to let him go to Belize once he was back in the U.S. for three months and advised by local authorities and advised him he had no obligation to go back. Why would he go back for some preliminary inquiry to see what the witnesses had to say. He knew he was set up by corrupt police officers, but wasn’t afraid. I wonder why the officer that arrested him for drug possession called in sick….why do you think he called in sick? Two reasons fear or money. I think if Bryan told the story in full, there would be some officers concerned about their jobs and financial situations. I can’t believe he didn’t take your country for all the money it has and make the government pay him for embarrassing him like like you did. I’m embarrassed and I’m just a girl who dated him. He left me, but was not mean to me. I know him though. I knew all this was a joke. I’m just an ex girlfriend sending a comment…and promising she will never go to Belize for anything. I’m to scared to go somewhere police are so corrupt. What did he do to you that was so bad you wanted to try and destroy him. He is and always has been gentle. I never wanted to be racist….but if someone tells me they are from that country I will tell them to get out of my space!!!!!!!!!!!!
