Old beef translates into Aggravated Assault

Dwayne Anthony Almendarez

Another case of feuding neighbors came up in court today, this time before Magistrate Roberto Ordonez. Twenty-four year old Dwayne Anthony Almendarez and twenty-year old Juan Tot, both residents of Mile eight on the Western Highway, have an old beef over the murder of one of Tot’s relatives in which Almendarez was accused. But while he beat the charges, there is still bad blood between them. According to Tot, he was leaving a supermarket on Friday afternoon when Almendarez approached on bicycled and tried to punch him, but missed. Tot claims Almendarez then drew a machete and before riding off, told him, “I noh di come back wid wah knife, I wah shoot yoh up.” Today Almendarez was charged with Aggravated Assault and Using Threatening Words. The prosecution objected to bail on the grounds that he might interfere with Tot due to their ongoing feud. Magistrate Ordonez upheld the objection and remanded Almendarez to prison until February thirteenth.

That is what happens when these guys murder and get off, they go out there and do it again. They will lock him up,but that won’t change any thing,mr.tot will always have to be looking over his back until the cat and mouse game come to a deadly end where he might be killed .The whole system of the law is to blame.
