Honduran hammer’s head of attacker

David Castillo

Turning to the courts, a Honduran national was arraigned on two criminal charges for allegedly beating another man with a hammer. The victim, twenty year old Kevin Martinez had to undergo surgery for head injuries he sustained during the altercation last Friday. Today, thirty-five year old David Castillo was charged with Grievous Harm and Use of Deadly Means of Harm when he appeared in the courtroom of Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer. No plea was taken since the prosecution could not indicate to the court whether the charges will be deal with at the Magistrate or Supreme Court level. The prosecutor did, however, object to bail on the grounds that police remain uncertain about Martinez’s condition following the surgery over the weekend. The court was also asked to consider the violent nature of the crime and the likelihood that Castillo may interfere with the victim.  Senior Magistrate Frazer agreed and denied bail.  Castillo, who was unrepresented in court, explained that he was only defending himself because Martinez went to his house and attacked him.  He is due back in court on January twenty-fourth when bail will be considered on his behalf.

I hope there are stipulations on who qualifies for naturalization? This is an exaple of one that should be denied Mr. Hutchinson.

Who is to be the jury for the crime , where any of you there I don’t think so. So lets wait and see the facts before we all become Judge and Jury.

Before jumping to any conclusion, we need to hear what the victim has to say.
