Fire guts a section of home in Belize City

A family from Consuelo Street was able to save their house, but lost all their belongings when an early morning fire damaged a section of their home. Forty-four year old, food vendor, Shirley Trapp, along with her common-law husband and three children were sleeping when she suddenly woke up to a fire at the front section of the house. Soon after her call, the Fire Department arrived on the scene and was able to contain the blaze. Trapp says that she has no proof of the cause of fire that started after one this morning, but in recent weeks she was being threatened.
