  1. Bdf says:

The only thing price can be credited is Belize independence.apart from that ,what else ?and the independence has done nothing to better belizeans life.

  2. Belizean says:

BDf, Independence alone deserves a lot of credit. to say what else he can be acredited for is ignorant. The fact is, Belize became Independent as a poor nation. The challenges then are the same challenges we face now, that is why we will keep calling ourselves “Developing” and not “Developed”. Had we remain under british control, you can bet your @$ our oil would be channeling all the way to England and we wouldnt have anything to show for ourselves after it is done. You think Im wrong, go check your archives and see if Belize benefitted from the exploitation of our Natural Resources, not the level we are seeing from the Guatemalans, the ones the British exploited sending us backwards a couple decades. We have an opportunity to drive on asphalt highways and have better institutions to educate and take care of our health, if we manage our natural resources and take advantage of oil. But we need to do so intelligently rather than finding faults.

  3. Cuttie says:

Thats so true Bdf, if he hadnt had got independence, Belize wouldnt stand much alone and would be getting the help they need as a third world country and they would have been able to travel places without a visa

  4. Mosh says:

    Educate your self BDF

  5. BZ says:

its sad because belize people arent educated, and they are trying to be who they are not. Belize is a first world country, they are not the states and they have to stop trying to be them because its not going to happen. The states have money, we are a small country in the caribbean and belize people are putting their hat higher than they can reach it. @ Bdf and Cuttie, I agree and i dont care if ignorant people dont.

  6. BZ says:

I meant, Belize is not a first world country……correction

  7. Elgin Martinez says:

Belizean:BDF is entitle to his or her own opinion and that doesn’t make him or her ignorant.

  8. cuttie says:
