Also in court, a Roaring Creek man who was caught with a small amount of marijuana got himself into big trouble with the law when he allegedly resisted arrest. Thirty-two year old Michael Broaster was approached by police on Tuesday, but he refused to be detained.  Officers reported that he damaged the rear window of a patrol vehicle and assaulted police corporal Requeña and constable Martinez. Broaster appeared in Magistrate’s Court unrepresented today and pleaded not guilty to charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug, Damage to Property, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Assaulting a Police Officer. Bail was offered to him in the sum of one thousand, five hundred dollars plus one surety of the same amount. He is due back in court on January twentieth, 2012.

  1. Charlie Price says:

POSESSION of A CONTROLED SUBSTANCE …..should be SECONDARY OFFENSE, meaning they stop you for something else then find weed.

ANYTHING LESS THAN AN OUNCE SHOULD BE ALLOWED….

What did they want to search him for???

And…WHY IS A NATURAL HERB THAT GROWS ANYWHERE A CONTROLED SUBSTANCE…. ALCHOHOL CAUSES WAY MORE PROBLEMS.

  2. BIG UP CHARLIE says:

I AGRREE CHARLIE PRICE.POLICE IN BELIZE TAKE ADVANTAGE TO THE RESIDENCE WHEN THEY SHOULD BE PROTECTING THE PEOPLE.
