Trio to stand trial for murder preparations

But a trio that was charged with the crime of preparing to commit a murder will stand trial in the January session of the Supreme Court.  They are twenty years old Tevin Abraham and Jareth Usher, as well as twenty seven year-old Jamal Tablada.  In May 2010, police busted the men in a Crown Victoria car at the Shell Gas Station in Ladyville as they were allegedly heading to commit a murder. Police found high power rifles and ammunitions in the car that belonged to the now deceased Floyd Davis, the fourth suspect.  At the conclusion of a preliminary inquiry today during which the police evidence was not challenged, the Senior Magistrate ruled that they will stand trial in the Supreme Court. The men were jointly charged with one count of preparing to commit a murder; keeping prohibited firearm including a HK 91 rifle and keeping prohibited ammunition. The senior magistrate granted them a new bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars.  By noon, Usher and Jamaal met their bail. Floyd Davis was murdered on September twenty-sixth at his home located at Mile eight on the Western highway.  He had been shot three times as he exited his vehicle.  No one was ever charged his murder.

Why bail.? Isn’t the law straight forward that no bail for possession or firearm offences? What’s going on with these Magistrates? Now major criminals who are prepared to kill are back on the streets. How stupid!!!!!!!!!!
