Woman alleges police roughed up family

A resident of Faber’s Road, forty-four year old Marion Williams, says that on Sunday evening police were in her neighborhood looking for a resident of the area. While she was not a suspect, she was at the receiving end of alleged police violence. Williams says they roughed her up, killed her dog, named ginger and arrested her son, twenty year old Shane Williams. According to the aggrieved woman, the police also wanted to detain her niece who was at the neighbor during the raid.

People, get familiar with the laws of Belize. The police is in every right to be in your yard if a felon is being pursued or if you are suspected of a crime, and can shoot an attacking dog as well. Get over it, the police need to do their job and Belizeans want the criminals off the streets. If we can get the criminals behind bars for good, then less dogs will be killed that’s the bottom line. Us Belizeans just like mek noise for nonsense. I have many dogs myself, but if it takes the life of my dog to get rid of a passing robber or criminal at least I would be glad he died for something. We got lotta dogs on the street starving. You can pick, choose and refuse; hear what give me your address and I can send two right now from my neighborhood. Do me the favor please, give a dog a home!

The police are suffering from a disease which is called” lack of self esteem.” They do foolishness to get attention. What they need to do is to stop drinking and womanizing and pick up a book and read to learn something useful. Some policemen have no sense and to make things worse some are even High school Donkey Graduates.

Our standard 6 police of the old times were Police, these present are toy police. Too much TV they must read to upgrade their brain instead ofkilling it with crap activities.

similar scenario in Dangriga Town over the weekend. A sixthe form honour student was arrest and beaten by some DRUNKEN PEACE OFFICERS (WHILE ON DUTY). When the boy’s mother went to the station and inquire about her son, the same DRUNKEN PEACE OFFICERS disrespected her.
i agree, we need to set a better tone!!!!!!!!!
