“The House of Shotokan had the opportunity to participate in a karate championship in Chetumal this weekend. The tournament is the 12th Annual Sueno del Campion which means Dream of Champion; that was held in Chetumal this weekend which drew competitors from all over Mexico. It’s a scheduled all Taekwondo event, but we were able to host a karate and taekwondo event which was the first time that every happened in the Chetumal/Mexico area. The students that participated brought back about eighteen medals. They did fantastic; they competed with other martial artists—they did outstanding in the competition.”
