    I personally believe that the ppl have the UNIVERSAL RIGHT to control the majority of thier country’s NATURAL RESOURCES and basic utilities. In my own way i partially support the gov’t right to try to pass laws protecting those right but these guys wana strip all your rights like wolfs in sheep’s clothing n that a big no no, ppl are not stupid. We can see what der trying to do mmmm shame on dis administration for trying to mek fools of di ppl.
    And to use dat stupid propaganda message with di lady.
    I do remember barrow saying that he cannot break binding contracts yet he has gone and done that w/ BTL & BEL, I wonder if he has the BALLS to nationalize B.N.E.

    nationalization=communism
    In a Democratic republic…there is a free market. The prices are set by the demand. If GOB owns utitlities, sugar, the port, they will set prices to raise their revenues. Look out! Once the legislation passes that prohibits protest, “democracy” has clearly taken a backseat to communist control. Forget about attracting any business to Belize…unless Chavez’ offers look attractive. Sad Day.

    People of Belize when it is said that the people of Belize own everything in their country, it means that they have sovereignty and they have a government to protect their rights to own shares, if you will, in all the mineral rights like oil, water, gold through taxation which should be returned to the beople either through a monthly payment check, paid up education for all, paid up health care, etc… It means that you have to all private ownership of land and if gold , oil, are discovered on your property, you will have the right if you can, to develop those resources but pay your taxes just like a foreign oil company. Just like they can become millionaires, you can become millionaires. but if you let GOB does what it likes , it will be disastrous for all of as is evident . The results : poverty, unemployment, hyperinflation, excessive taxes, abuses of all kinds by politicians, homelessness, FASCISM, COMMUNISM, DICTATORSHIP, and all forms of tyrannies. So people you need to be trained to arrive at political, economic, social, legal maturity. But what you don’t need is for politicians to foist any type of dictatorship on your sorry heads.
