Saturday Concert to raise spirits

In an age where the murder rate is spiraling out of control and violent crime occurs unabated, safe public events are hard to come by. But a dancehall singer and man of God, is planning a concert that will have popular music topped with spiritual and relevant messages this weekend. According to Reality Youth who is promoting his latest video, the entire family is welcome to the free concert on Saturday.

“I want everybody come out and have a good time. Bring out yo lee children because this concert will be off the hook. You got a lot of performances: like Jacob Diggs, some of my Spanish brethren from Orange Walk, Jah Soldiers—they full of fire—their lyrics pan Reggaeton just di look fi mash up el Diablo en Jesus Cristo. I got a new album also gonna be released at the concert, ninth of July which is tomorrow at four o’clock sharp. Uno come out ina love and come together ina one accord. Just open up and be ready to be receptive; to receive the message from God. Rigth now you got so much demonic things weh deh bout right now across the nation. But I want unu understand no demon noh stronger that Jesus Christ. We have authority to thread over snakes and scorpions in Jesus’ name. And this emo thing—with this lotta lee bwai and lee gial di cut up themselves—they thing we wah cast that down in Jesus’ name.  So if den deh thing come out deh, we want they come out deh cause we wa blaze the consuming fire pan dehn  and make these kids and children that is going the wrong way receive the love of Jesus Christ because we are not here to condemn anyone. If you are a gay, you could come out too because we have message for unu too. But we noh come fi condemn unu. From unu as well, the fire will purge you and you will accept Christ because the word of God dah fire and ih burn through every unclean spirit—it burn it out of yo and put the holy spirit ina yo through the word of God. So we wah unu come out; it noh matter dah who you, we noh come fi condemn. If dah emo yo deal with, come out and hear the word.”

The Battlefield Park concert will start at four p.m. on Saturday and will end at approximately nine. In addition to his new CD, Reality Youth says that the other artists will also have their music on sale in the park.
