Attorney for Dean Boyce projects further litigation

The new legislation does not yet have wide circulation. News Five spoke via phone to Godfrey Smith, attorney for Dean Boyce, who represents the Trusts that had majority shares in Telemedia. Although he only had opportunity for a cursory glance at the bill, Smith believes that there will be further litigation.

“All I can say is I that haven’t had the opportunity yet to study in any great detail the legislation. However, having gone through it, having looked at it very quickly, I am of the view that that new piece of legislation still does not pass constitutional muster and will still be open to a considerable number of challenges by Dean Boyce and the B.T.L.’s Employee’s Trust.”
