Housekeeper who rob employer remanded to prison

Donatila Najera

The housekeeper, who orchestrated a robbery at her employer’s house in Belama Phase two, was arraigned along with her co-conspirator today. Forty-six year old Donatila Najera and thirty-eight year old businesswoman, Sixta Medina, were jointly charged with Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Theft. There are two additional counts of Handling Stolen Goods against Medina, who was found with four thousand, eight hundred and eighty dollars in items that were stolen from Zita Small.

Sixta Medina

Najera is also charged with Committing a Mischievous Act for making a False Report. Both women initially pleaded guilty to the Theft charge but Medina’s attorney, Anthony Sylvestre arrived and advised her not to. Najera was fined two thousand dollars for her guilty plea, but could not pay and was remanded to prison. Both women return to court on March eighteenth on the other charges and bail will be considered for Medina at that hearing.
