The ministry of education and NICH presents “the high school festival of arts” to be held on Thursday March 17th at the friar Phillip Marin Parish Hall, in Dangriga town.  The festival’s parade will start in front of the hope clinic on the Havana Bridge at 5pm.  The parade goes up St Vincent and commerce street and end at the Parish Hall.  The MC for this event is “Gua Gua” and the General admissions fee is only $3………………..

Galen’s SGA is getting down as they present to you a dance called “I Love the 80’s” scheduled for next week Friday at the Cappello’s uphill bar and grill. There will be prizes for the best dressed and free jello shots, the party starts at 10 and its only $10 to get in…………………

Melonie Gillett Invites you to “the Dreamer” an album launch concert hosted by Angela Gegg, on March 11th at the bliss institute at 8pm. participating artists include Earnestine Caballo, Jackie Castillo, Denise Castillo, Deborah Pitts, and Chanelle Parks. Album in stores on March 12th at courts branches across Belize City……………………………

This Sunday March 1th3 Aspiring politician Jerry Martinez is having an all day sporting marathon at the Wilton Cummerbatch field. Events will include a basketball and football tournament, a volleyball competition and a kite contest. There will be cash prizes and trophy give a ways for these events.  And the day just gets better because on the grounds will be Mr. Programs, The New Rebel s Band all the way from griga alongside Super G and Chico Ramos. So come out everyone, Bring the entire family for a day of fun.  Food and drinks will be on sale and there will be security in full force………………………….

The annual Women’s Month Bike rally will be held this Saturday morning at 6am. It starts at the corner of the Western highway and Western avenue. The first 50 person to register will get a free water bottle.  Riders are asked to contribute $1 in aid of the Belize cancer Society. All registered riders will be entered in the riders’ raffles, where they can win fabulous prizes including TV’s, MP5 players, cell phones, cash, and weekend stays. Trophies will be given to the youngest female rider, the eldest female rider, the largest mixed teams, and the largest female team. Remember the bike rally is not a race, but rather an event that promotes healthy lifestyles in men, women and children. So bring out the entire family for a day of health and fun!…………………….

And be sure to tune into channel 5 on Tuesdays for KTV Latino and vote for your favorite singers using your smart phones  also coming up at 8 La Ruta Maya followed by the broadcast premier of Joey Clarks’ Play “the best Medicine”………………….
