Shyne gets turned away at the UK airport
Moses Leviy, the rapper also known as Shyne, has maintained a low profile on the local scene but big names in the music industry have been trekking to Belize in connection with a new album in the pipeline. The recording would be his first since his release from prison. But the news tonight is that over the weekend Shyne packed up and headed to London via Cancun but he ran into trouble with immigration officials over some glitches in his travel documents. The rapper was denied entry into the UK and was turned back. Shyne was heading to London to record his new album and was accompanied by an entourage that included one local artist whom he has recruited for his new release. But as he faced immigration issues, this past Tuesday, a song entitled “All my Life” featuring DJ Khaled was leaked on the internet. It includes lyrics from Shyne on his time in prison. Khaled introduces Shyne saying quote “From the streets of New York , where the streets don’t sleep, Shyne get ‘em!, Shyne then raps All my life I’ve been rolling with the D’s and the C’s, Steady ducking the police, ain’t a friend. When they take me ahead, they fill me with lead Until it come to an end, I’ll be bleeding in bed. I live slowly let you read in the F.E.D.S., Daddy wasn’t there but my mama was a gem. But I ain’t trippin’ though, that’s how I kill a flow”. Shyne traveled through Mexico since he cannot enter the US because of his conviction for assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession. He served nine of ten years at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in the state of New York for a shoot-out at a Manhattan night club.
