Tek It or Leave It’s youngest player wins biggest prize
She is the ninth and the youngest contestant to ever play Channel Five’s hit game show Tek It or Leave It. At last Wednesday’s recording of the show, twenty-two year old Alisha Arnold of Belize City played a fierce game and gave the banker a run for the money when she attempted to win the grand cash prize of ten thousand dollars. The young mother was quick on her feet and her intuition was right on the money. The audience was cooperative but as the game progressed there was tension in the air at the Bliss. In the end Arnold prevailed and she is contestant to win the biggest cash so far… Here’s what she had to say when she came to our studios.
Alisha Arnold, Winner, Tek it or Leave It
“Well that experience felt very great at that night. That is such a good thing for me because the money came in very handy and I plan to use it towards my child’s education.”
“Were you nervous? When they were giving you offers, how did you know whether to take it or not?”
“I went there to take up a challenge that’s what it is all about. It wasn’t anything like really extreme to me. I had very much a lot support from friends and family in the audience as well as the people that came to support, you know.”
“You were gunning for the ten thousand dollars right? What did you feel were your chances to take it?”
“Well I was very close at winning the ten thousand and I was thinking a whole lot of stuff about that. What I would just like to say to the other contestant, just go ahead play the game. It’s a game of chance and luck also.”
The episode airs tonight right here on Channel Five. So stay tuned right after this newscast to see the amount of money Arnold took home.
