A police search in some cool places netted them hot items in a Belmopan home yesterday. Police went to twenty-five Sinsonte Street where they found seventy grams of cannabis in the refrigerator. Stacked away in a white cooler were a total of two hundred and forty three counterfeit one hundred-dollar Belizean bills and one thirty-eight millimeter pistol with two live rounds of ammunition. Present at the time of the raid were primary school teacher, twenty-four year old Patricia Willacey, twenty year old Peter Willacey, twenty-two year old Jonathan Bahadur and a thirteen year old. All four were arrested and charged for the crimes of possession of controlled drugs, possession of unlicensed ammunition and possession of counterfeit notes. Police would not give more details on the arrests saying the matter is still under investigation. News Five understands that this is not the first time the house has been raided. Meanwhile police are advising the public, especially business establishments, to be on the look out for counterfeit one hundred Belize dollars with serial number AC618169 and counterfeit twenty Belize dollars with serial number CA995543.
