Ramon Witz is Back in Cayo South for the U.D.P.

Ramon Witz

There was also a new U.D.P. standard bearer elected in the Cayo South division, but actually he’s a former area rep. Three persons contested to be the caretaker for that constituency, which is a stronghold of P.U.P. area rep, Julius Espat. A total of one thousand three hundred and ninety-seven votes were cast with nineteen ballots rejected. In the end, Ramon Aleman received one hundred and eleven votes, former standard bearer Ralph Wang got four hundred and twenty-eight votes and Ramon Witz received eight hundred and forty-one votes becoming the new standard bearer. Here’s Witz as he takes the oath.

Ramon Witz, U.D.P. Standard Bearer, Cayo South

“I, Ramon Francisco Witz, do solemnly swear that as the United Democratic Party standard bearer for Cayo South constituency, I will resume to diligently work hard to bring victory to our United Democratic Party. I pledge to be true and faithful to the principles and ideals of the party. I will uphold the party’s constitution and will work hard to the very best of my judgment and ability for each and every one of you, so help me God.”

Witz is a one term area rep who was defeated by the P.U.P.’s Julius Espat in the 2012 general elections.
