“Roaring Creek Police was called to an area of Camalote Village near the school where they saw the body of a female person lying on the highway in an unconscious state. Her name was later learned to be Carol Orellena of Camalote Village. The investigation has shown that sometime 6:45 p.m. she was walking on the highway when she was knocked down. So far there are no witnesses to say what knocked her down and no vehicles were found in the area. She is presently admitted at the Western Regional Hospital where she is listed in a stable condition.”
