Belizean Caught in Drug Trafficking Scheme by D.E.A.

Fiorman Erick Gillett

Forty-eight-year-old Fiorman Erick Gillett, a Belizean based in Houston, Texas, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, also known as crystal meth. Gillett, also known as “B,” was being looked at by the Drug Enforcement Administration of the U.S. in February of 2017 after they snared a confidential source who regularly bought drugs from him, according to the Virginian-Pilot newspaper. Gillett agreed to send two pounds of meth from Houston to Norfolk but an associate mixed up the addresses on the package, allowing police to get to the package before it could be sent via Federal Express. Subsequently, Gillett agreed to send a further pound of meth via the U.S. Postal Service. But as part of the operation, while the drugs were again seized, he was paid as if they were received. In April Gillett spoke with the confidential source and agreed to send a package of heroin and more crystal meth, but actually sent a package of the synthetic opioid fentanyl, responsible for a recent uptick of drug-related deaths in the U.S., instead. After he was paid for this package, he agreed to meet directly to negotiate the final payment and was arrested. The Virginian-Pilot reports that he was in the country illegally. He will be sentenced in the U.S. District Court in Norfolk, Virginia, later this year.

The US ain’t Belize, should have been satisfied from your 1st cut. No doubt if they give you life in prison especially being an illegal black man.
