Mother and Son Returned to Canada after Hiding for 4 Years
A three-year custody battle between Canadian parents is winding down. Thirty-three-year-old Canadian national Robin Leanne Greenway Trockstad was arrested by authorities in Cayo District after the Canadian government issued a warrant for her arrest on charges of abduction in contravention of a custody order. Four-year-old Treyson Trockstad Greenway, Robin’s son with ex-husband Chad, was taken out of the country by his mother years ago. They left from their home of Lethbridge, Alberta, during a custody dispute. Chad now holds sole custody. Authorities traced Robin to the Spanish Lookout area under the name Jen Friesen. She was part of a local religious ministry and claimed to be in fear of her life. Chad was in Belize to pick up his son.
