Marvin Manzanero

According to Director of Health Services, Doctor Marvin Manzanero, the contribution speaks to the relationship between the Ministry of Health, the K.H.M.H. and the public.

Dr. Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services

“The donation today represents issues, I think, where we can work in partnership with the community because I know that primarily the Ministry of Health and the Karl Heusner is heavily targeted in terms of what we lack, what we don’t do.  So we tend to have negative aspects which are primarily highlighted, but I think elements such as the one we are addressing today are an opportunity as to how, or the way I see it is the community contributing back to ensure that we are able to do our work.  You are right in that scrubs and the gowns that are going to be made available are primarily for use within the hospital setting and it’s good that we have the quality assurance person here.  I mean scrubs shouldn’t really be out on the streets, they are for use inside the hospital.  So I take this opportunity to highlight that particular element.  So we look forward to the ongoing relationship that we are going to construct now because at the end of the day it’s not really a want, they are needs and our needs are always going to be growing, so we are trying to wrap ourselves around that particular issue.”

“On behalf of the Board of Directors and the management of the K.H.M.H., I would like to say thanks to the JP Association for the donation of the scrubs and I am sure that over at Karl Heusner we will be able to use these scrubs to compliment what we have and that they will go a long way in utilization and to make our numbers that we have function even better.”

The donation of items was presented at the Central Region of the Ministry of Health.
