Where is Mark Pollard?

Mark Pollard

Where is Mark Pollard? The forty-nine-year-old of Peter Seco Street in Belize City has not been seen or heard from since Monday and the family is tonight fearing the worst. Pollard left his home just around five a.m. on Monday to go jogging en route to the Haulover Bridge and back, but he never returned home. Conflicting reports to the family of him being spotted on the Phillip Goldson and the George Price Highways has them worried, and today, they began searching for him. While two searches this morning and another after three this afternoon came up fruitless, the family is now following the latest tip based on a call to his best friend. News Five spoke with Jody Rhamdas today about the whereabouts of Pollard.

On the Phone: Jody Rhamdas, Best Friend of Missing Man

“The family is concerned because since Monday morning at about five a.m., Mark Pollard went to jog on the northern highway towards the Haulover bridge and since then he hasn’t returned back from that jogging which would have taken only one hour. Now someone saw him running at five-twenty. He said that he spoke to Mark at five-twenty. He said that while he was in the James Bus going up to Belmopan where he worked, he’s saying that he saw Mark at the intersection of the western highway roundabout and Chetumal Boulevard; that was an hour in difference and that would have been the same hour he would have reached home by then. But Mark didn’t show up home none at all. I got a call today about two p.m. from someone anonymously saying that when he was driving across Haulover Creek, he said he saw someone…because what he saw on Facebook was a picture of this guy favouring the same description in the Haulover Creek about two hundred yards in. And so I’m telling him why didn’t he make a call to the coastguard or somebody that someone was in the Haulover Creek; he says he thought that someone was just swimming.”
