Teen Arsonist Sought for Burning Home and Shop in City

An early morning fire over the weekend was put out by quick action of the property owners and the Fire Department.  In the early hours of Saturday morning, seventy-two-year-old Robert Ramclam Senior was awakened by a noise in his shop on Maskall Street in Belize City. He saw a man running away and the front of his business on fire.  It was put out quickly, but not before the blaze destroyed the wooden walling and window panels, damaging his freezer and radio. News Five spoke with Ramclam Senior today who says that the fire was set by a teen from his area because of a “beef” with his grandson. He believes the perpetrator will return to finish the job.
