What Really Happened the Night Aaron Wilson was Busted

Aaron Wilson

It all came crashing down in July of 2010, when Wilson, who had been working at a night club in Belize City as security, was accused of molesting a woman and stealing her cell phone – charges for which he was found guilty in Magistrate’s Court.  But he says the woman in question, while he was picking her up, claimed she had gotten in a fight with her boyfriend and he personally witnessed them fighting. But it was Wilson who got in trouble after the two made up and teamed up to take him down.

Aaron Wilson, Convicted of False Pretenses as Police Officer

“When I was watching her to enter the yard safe, I heard a loud bang – ‘Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!’ So I came out of the vehicle and I realize that she was banging the gate; the gate was like sheet metal that sound loud when you bang it. So when I saw that, I saw the gate slide open and they dragged her in. so I quickly run to the gate and I notice that her boyfriend was slapping her, so I told him, ‘Relax, what is happening here?’ He then looked at me and said, ‘Who you?’ He said, ‘Dah police yu like – go with Police then, since da Police you like!’ I’m like ‘Man I gave this girl a ride bro, what happened?’ He said, ‘Bwai, come out a my yard! Right now I wah call Mr. Henderson, me and he da friend!” I tell ah ‘Bro, easy, man.” Then he started to ‘rough up’ the girl [and] I told him, ‘Bro, if you knock da gial one more time ah wah have to detain yu.’ He came after me with a force; I thought he was going to hit me physically. So I dress back about three feet like this (moves away from camera) and I put my [hand] on the firearm and I told him (Gestures) “Sir, I will be forced to shoot you if you don’t stop.” The man then said to police that I threatened him, and that was why I ended up in this investigation.”

Wilson awaits sentencing from the Supreme Court, but he indicated that he intends to file an appeal.
