Fire Hits Benguche Area of Dangriga

A fire early this morning completely wiped out a wooden home in the Benguche Area of Dangriga. Sometime after four thirty, Errol Gomez was inside his one bedroom house when he was woken up by flames inside his house. A neighbor, who happened to be up around that time, responded quickly and called the authorities. Despite quick action by the Fire Service, the fire burnt quickly and Gomez lost everything. While the cause of the fire is still being determined, neighbors we spoke with in the area say they believe it was arson.
