Julius Espat Believes “Messengers” Will be Blamed in Senate Inquiry

Julius Espat

As telling information is revealed at the ongoing senate inquiry, we asked the Cayo South area rep Julius Espat if he thought that the so called big wigs would face the music for the immigration illegalities. Espat says that unfortunately it is the messenger who will be blamed.

Julius Espat, Area Rep., Cayo South

“I believe a couple guys way down the ladder wah take the heat fi di rest; I predict that. I see it…it is important because it is transparency to a certain extent. But I noh see none of the big players out there as yet; I need fi see some of them. And by the big players I mean the ministers…we noh di waste no time man. We know the reality; we know that it comes from the top to the bottom; that’s how I feel. But think about it: two months of investigation was revealed. Two months of eight years or nine years now. Two months of nine years of one ministry…check it out. Two months of eight years of one ministry and you got this. I coulda throw the thing down and yo just line up with thing weh gone wrong. Now could you imagine that you go do an audit of the custom’s department? Could you imagine yo do wah audit of the police department? (Chuckles) I noh even have to continue. That is where we need it to be though because we noh wah get outta this economy, we noh wah get outta this recession if we don’t address the real issues. What is happening there is good; it’s called transparency. What you are doing here is good; it’s called transparency. People have to be aware before things happen. …We can’t live ina wah cocoon, we can’t believe that it noh wah affect me; it does affect all of us.  But I noh want see the man weh dah the messenger go dah jail for the one dah top and I got wah feeling that wah happen.”

I agree with this too, the big fish will slide away and the small one is going to get nailed. Why hasn’t Hulse or Penner being grilled yet???? It baffles me that for so long this has taken to come into such thing where we are being shown how the big fish keeps in the dark while the small ones are taken to light. I would like to see the big fish them jailed .
