Jaguars on the Beach – Footballers Take Down Jamaica in Penalty Shootout
The 2017 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship is underway in Nassau, Bahamas where Team Belize is currently doing battle on the sandy pitch against the host country. Earlier in the competition the Jaguars clinched their first victory over Jamaica. They were first on the scoreboard with the first goal being served up by Marlon Mesa within the first two minutes of game play. When both teams drew at five goals apiece at the end of three periods, they resorted to a penalty shootout during which the Jaguars went up by two points. The Jaguars currently rank second in Group A with a total of two points and are following closely behind the Bahamas. Here are the highlights of the game against Jamaica.
