Senior Citizen Attacked in Hattieville Home Invasion
Tonight there is a report of a despicable act upon an elderly man in Hattieville. It happened at a time when seventy-eight year old Clinton Belisle was grieving the death of his brother hours earlier on Thursday. He was inside his home at mile seventeen on the George Price Highway when around midnight, four masked men, one armed with what appeared to be a shotgun entered his room and held him up. Belisle lives alone in a fenced property isolated from the rest of his family and the village. The robbers demanded money, but Belisle only had fourteen dollars in his wallet. It would seem that the burglars became incensed and proceeded to tie up Belisle before ransacking his house. They got away with two flat screen TVs and an assortment of other household items. No one has been detained in connection with this home invasion. And police are not providing any interviews on this latest attack on an elderly person.
