Recent Inmate Kenneth Dobson is Another Murder Victim

Kenneth Dobson

The New Year continued with a second murder on Monday night. Thirty-one-year-old Kenneth Dobson was shot and killed while he socialized with friends on Raccoon Street Extension. The Belize City man has had a colorful history and has been acquitted of at least two murders and Police say that they will be looking at his past to see if there is a connection to his death. But his friends say that he had made a change in his life and was on a different path since he got out of jail in 2015. Andrea Polanco was on Raccoon Street Extension today to speak with the friends he was last with before he was killed.

Kenneth Dobson was under this house socializing with four friends sometime after seven onMonday night when he was shot and killed. Dobson, according to his friends, would spend most of his time here – almost every day he would come to have a few drinks and play dominoes with guys from the neighborhood. And that is exactly what he was doing – at this table – when a lone gunman walked up and shot him. Dobson tried to run away but the gun man followed him and shot him multiple times – and here he collapsed and died shortly after. Egbert Flowers is his friend and had spoken to him only minutes before he was killed.

He was also shot in 2004. But since he got out of prison two years ago he has changed his associates and friends – according to his domino buddies –Dobson better known as “Fudgie” was a man who was on a path to turn his life around.
