B.D.F. Commander Jones Was Not Home at Time of Burglary

David Jones

The Price Barracks residence of Brigadier General David Jones was broken into a few weeks ago, while the B.D.F. commander was out of the country.  The discovery that his home had been burglarized and ransacked was made upon his return on the weekend of December second.  Stolen from the property was approximately thirty thousand dollars in cash, along with other items.  While Jones has been silent about the incident, we caught up with him earlier today and he gave the media a brief response to several questions posed to him about the break-in.

“We had received reports that your home was burglarized and a large quantity of cash had been stolen. Are you able to share some details with us on that?”

Brig. Gen. David Jones, Commander, B.D.F.

“Well I have not formally given any report as to how much was stolen from my house. I have heard the rumors out there, but the police are doing their investigation and I am not going to comment on it.”

“Can you confirm however whether or not you were present in country at the time that this incident took place?”

Brig. Gen. David Jones

“Well I can say I was out of the country when it occurred.”

Isani Cayetano

“And the discovery was made while you were away or when you returned is when you discovered that your place had been broken into?”

Brig. Gen. David Jones

“After I arrived, after I arrived.”
