This afternoon, there was a rare occurrence in the quiet residential community of King’s Park – a shooting incident. But more than that is the identification of the victim, Candice Barrow.  She is the niece of the Prime Minister, the daughter of his popular campaign and constituency manager Denise “Sister B” Barrow. Candice was reportedly shot to the leg and later rushed to the Belize Medical Associates for treatment; her condition at this time is unknown. Police are hot on the trail of the shooter, as explained by Superintendent Hilberto Romero, Commander of Precinct Three in Eastern Division North.

  1. Clue says:

Awww, Candace, what were you doing in that area, especially if you were at that particular house? Inquiry minds want to know, or does the apple not fall from the tree. I’m happy that you will be okay. I got t he news before at least ten people who I called and asked about it, and they are living in Belize. That’s how fast news travels. In the word of the late great Malcom X ” The Chickens Have Come to Roost.” Let’s see now how Police and GSU will act without impunity because you’re the niece of the PM. Now, your family can feel some of the fear and pain that innocent people of Belize feel due to corruption and encouraging these thugs on the street. Basically, this government rules by fear because everyone knows they encourage a couple of the gangs in that country. The Chicago mobster, Al Capone, thought he was untouchable; so does members of government and family. Now, we see that everyone can be touched. God spoke to Ralph Fonseca when he took his son, consider yourself lucky. I digress.
