Ferguson Tells Investigators She Didn’t See Anything Happen

Richard “Dickie” Bradley

According to Ferguson – more specifically according to what Ferguson has told her attorney and allegedly investigators, she didn’t begin to realize that something was happening until her husband showed up that night in the presence of Police.

Richard “Dickie” Bradley, Attorney for Melissa Ferguson

“Her husband had come in the presence of police officers asking her to get the spare keys for the vehicle, without giving her any explanation. She did not say if he was handcuffed or distraught or in any kind of condition. So they came, he asked her for the keys; she went downstairs and gave the keys. Much later on, she got a message—I’m not clear if it is an actual phone call or a text—that she was to get an attorney for Mister Mason. He did not say why or if it is for him or anybody else. And then much, much later, she got this message that there were serious developments involving the vehicle that he had; that is what she knew. So I represent her; I can’t say that she was on the run because I was contacted last week that she wanted to cooperate with the police. She understood that she herself was the subject of the police wanting to get information. So that is where it is.”

Mike Rudon

“Is it your understanding that she has been in the country the entire time?”

Richard “Dickie” Bradley

“That is my clear understanding; you cannot leave Belize if the police and Interpol are looking for you because she would have to use her passport and right away they would know that she had left. And she had her passport and I looked and I saw no indication that she had gone out or come into the country legally through any of the border points. And there is no reason for her to say otherwise; she could have said, oh I decided to do some shopping and I came back and I hear that my name is all over the place. She didn’t go there; she has been in Belize all along and the people who linked me with her, they confirmed that to me.”
