A Snapshot of Ted Ouelette’s Shady Past

William Mason

One of William Mason’s properties is located at mile thirty-one on the George Price Highway. This is where late yesterday, the murder weapon, a knife, was retrieved from a pond after the water was pumped out. The weapon, the severed head, the charred remains being secured, today, the courthouse was inundated with heavy Police presence, as has been every aspect of the sensational detention of alleged Guyanese Canadian national William Mason. Mason, an alleged con-man and worse, is known to keep the company of very high-level politicians and police officials who have been known to hang out regularly at his hilltop residence. In fact, numerous sources tell News Five that after clinching the post of Deputy Prime Minister, Patrick Faber held one of his victory parties at the Belmopan hilltop home of Mason.  We contacted Faber about the party following his swearing in six weeks ago, but he did not respond. So just who is this relatively unassuming man who’s managed to infiltrate Cabinet and gain such important friends? News Five’s Mike Rudon takes a look at the little we do know about William Mason.

What do William Mason, William Ferguson, Ted Ouellet, Raj Ouellet, Danny Ouellet and Ramesh have in common? Well they’re all the same guy, currently on remand for the gruesome murder of Pastor Llewellyn Lucas. The internet is exploding with information about him – all of it bad. On the consumer protection blog known as the Ripoff Report, he’s a prominent fixture. Under the name Ted Ouelette of a Toronto address, the reports and complaints go back as far as 2010.

There are myriad condemnations of the man – one of the many stating, “Myself, and others throughout the Toronto area have lost their hard earned money, dreams, life savings and even homes to this scam artist. He is very cunning, he has many names.”

From there Mason reportedly made his way to Guyana where he is quoted in an article dated January, 2012 and entitled – Guyana-born businessman to set up twenty-five million U.S. dollars medical resources facility. The article speaks of Raj Ouelett, C.E.O. of 7 Oceanz’s big plans for Guyana, but interestingly we could find no other mention of the company.

Best information is that Mason has been in Belize about three years, though there has been no official confirmation. We do know that he has a birth certificate issued in June 2015 which has him as a Crooked Tree native and in July 2015, he received a police record listing him as a native Belize. In 2015 he also contributed financially to the Belmopan Bandits, owned by Minister of National Security John Saldivar.

John Saldivar

John Saldivar, Minister of National Security

“If you’re asking the question if I know Mr. Mason obviously he is a resident of Belmopan and a businessman and in terms of my direct involvement with him at some point last year he had made some contributions to my football club, the Bandits, but that is the extent of it.”

There is some question that indeed that was the end of it. Mason obviously was very close to Saldivar. Here he’s pictured with, and obviously very comfortable with GSU head Mark Flowers and John Saldivar’s right hand Jesus Castillo. Mason was accused of kidnapping almost two months ago, but Police had failed to pick him up. Their explanation for that seems questionable.

Russell Blackett, Acting ComPol

“While Mr. Mason is a Guyanese, he is a very cunning guy. The location where he is located – for us to get in and search, would have been problematic for us. So when we had enough evidence to go on him, we decided to catch him outside and take him in where it would be safe for him and safe for the tactical unit going on.”

Russell Blackett

Saldivar disassociated himself from Mason at least six separate times during the press conference, while Blackett went to great pains to assure an obviously skeptical public that the investigation would be handled with integrity.

John Saldivar

“Certainly I can say categorically to all those who may be the conspiracy theorists out there – that Mr. Mason’s and my involvement was only as far as sports, as far as our football team was concerned. There was no other relationship or arrangement with Mr. Mason.”

Russell Blackett

“While we have persons within us that might be tainted, we ensure and we know that we have a very good department with integrity. And while there’s always mischief about and the means by the media to carry it out, we intend to go all the way just like any other murder investigation, just like any other robbery to bring the people to justice.”

Still, the attorney for the five men, Herbert Panton, has stated that there are procedural errors in their arrest and arraignment. So we’ll just have to wait and see if the accused don’t find a loophole to slip through. Mike Rudon for News Five.

The People’s United Party today issued a release expressing condemnation of the dead of pastor Llewellyn Lucas, stating that, “The gruesome discovery of the head of Pastor Llewelyn Lucas in the possession of the said William Mason and three others has exposed major weaknesses in several critical government departments and an incestuous relationship between Mr. Mason, Minister of National Security John Saldivar, other Ministers of Government, U.D.P. politicians, and several members of the Belize Police Department.”

The best is yet to come!! See these hungry politicians accept money, bribes for favors from any one without doing a simple google search. Dumb…everyone of them… Now that they done spend the man money and guess what, now that you are in trouble with the law (I DO NOT KNOW YOU)

John, let me say something to you; you’re more than caught with your hands in the cookie jar. A little excerpt from Psychology classes while in school, “voice inflection and body language tell a whole lot.” You couldn’t keep still in that press conference and you drank water like you were in a dessert. Sad thing, to protect your ass, he will walk away. The people of Belize need to wake up. The only way he doesn’t walk away is if you arrange for police or someone to kill him because he’s going to sink you and a lot more ministers. Tell the Belizean public how he got his birth certificate through you initializing it and sending one of the players on your football team to do your dirty work. You got off one of your relatives in Belize City on rape from the Belama police station, he seems as if he hasn’t learnt his lesson, because he’s still out there drinking. Poor parent kept hush because the little money his uncle paid was more beneficial to her. You think I didn’t know. I digress.

    No coverup, trust me!
    Just a misunderstanding.
    The head is not real.
I spoke with Lucas today, he left the country on business.

The Belizean community sucks! That includes its leaders, the higher hands of the law, crooked individuals, of which there are many, including the Mennonites and other religious groups, police officers who can’t keep their pants on in front of the children and who rape at random and get away with it, as well as snobby f***s who look down on the poor. And if it takes a village to raise a child, no wonder the youths are f****d up. More crooks in the making. What’s left is for ISIS to go in and demolish the whole place. I long stop loving Belize. My visits these days are cumbersome. Thank God for American citizenship. Lost world be damned!
